-Hispanic Heritage Month Poster Contest-
Laraway School will celebrate the diverse culture and contributions of Hispanic and Latino people by hosting our first ever Hispanic Heritage Month poster contest. This is an optional poster contest in which students choose an influential Hispanic person, research important facts about that person, and create a poster at home with their findings. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and teach each other something new.
Completed posters can be turned in to Ms. Negrusz or the Front Office. Posters will be hung up in the cafeteria and judged. There will be prizes for the top three winners in each hallway. Prizes include a Lego set, a mystery prize, and artisanal Mexican items. We can’t wait to see your inspiring creations! Posters are due Friday, October 10th.
We serve each child for the purpose of helping reach his or her full potential as a life-long learner.
It is the business of learning that inspires us to teach.
Our ultimate goal is to positively contribute to the betterment of the communities in which WE live.
